Salary: £49,000 depending on experience – This role also has paid overtime available.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting with the maturation of platform requirements
- Working to analyse requirements to ensure traceability
- Cross‑organisation stakeholder engagement
- Overseeing end‑to‑end processes and supporting with continuous improvement to ensure mitigation of technical concerns
- Working with the wider team to support with defining/ verifying acceptances
- Assisting with the development and satisfaction of the programme’s Verification & Validation needs
Your Skills And Experiences
- Systems engineering domain knowledge
- Ability to translate technical issues to a wider stakeholder audience
- Requirements management toolsets knowledge (e.g. Doors / Cradle)
- Degree Level Qualification (ideally STEM) or Equivalent experience in a similar role
- Ability to identify issues / future risk, evaluate & implement solutions

The SSNA Whole Boat Requirements & Acceptance Team
This is a unique role, in which you will gain exposure to the foundation of the submarines build. It provides a real opportunity to have exposure to the early design of a new programme and new submarines. You will also gain exposure to the early design of a new programme and new submarines, which is a chance to have an impact on the future SSNA platform. To help support this, overtime is available in this role. There is also support for further growth and development in the role, from potential role scope growth to further education opportunities, making this a team focused on development. BAE also offers a fantastic work‑life balance programme that includes flexible & hybrid working. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
