What you'll be doing:

Project Control plays a vital part in the successful delivery of a project. It involves planning and scheduling, organisation, data analysis, risk identification, budget management and measuring performance. It is a core skillset in the business and one which we could not manage without. Collaboration skills are key, as well as being logical, adaptable and having the ability to problem-solve. As a business, we are looking to develop our project controllers of the future, to help us deliver the most complex national and international projects to our customers and a Project Control Degree Apprenticeship could be the perfect start to your career. The apprenticeship consists of five placements, allowing you to develop your core project control skills and knowledge alongside multiple established teams who will share their expertise and support your learning journey. Each placement will offer something different and allow you to explore all elements of this important discipline.

What qualification will you get?

Attending Blackpool and Fylde College one day per week, you will achieve a: BSc (Honours) Degree in Project Control.

Leave policy:

Please note you must not book any annual leave within the first 3 months of your apprenticeship. Following this, leave will be considered depending on the individual training delivery schedule and must be approved by your line manager.

Export Control / Security:

Please be aware that many roles at BAE Systems are subject to both security and export control restrictions. These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.

Qualification requirements:

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4 / A*-C which must include Maths & English and 96 UCAS Points (or equivalent) (excluding UCAS points gained at AS level).
