<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Communications Associate</p><p><strong><strong>Location:</strong></strong> Warton. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. </p><p><strong><strong>Salary:</strong></strong> &pound;41,361</p><p> </p><p><strong><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></strong> </p><ul><li>Supporting the delivery of communications and engagement plans to enhance the experience of colleagues within US Programmes and to support delivery of the business plan</li><li>Building relationships with both senior leaders and those on the frontline within US Programmes to ensure you can develop effective communications which land well with stakeholders</li><li>Presenting complex messages in a simple way across a range of mediums/communications channels</li><li>Producing collateral including for the App and Intranet, plus emails, newsletters, posters which are clear, concise and appealing</li><li>Supporting the creation of video animation content, delivery hands on support and also agency management</li><li>Supporting the delivery of events including colleague and stakeholder events, including developing content and supporting logistics</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Your skills and experiences:</strong></strong> </p><p>Essential: </p><ul><li>Good communication and collaboration (including verbal and written communications skills)</li><li>Problem solving skills with a logical approach to problem resolution</li><li>An understanding of core principals and techniques of good communications with the ability to work to deadlines and achieve targets</li><li>Ability to influencing stakeholders and confidently advise on communication activities</li></ul><p>Desirable: </p><ul><li>Specialist knowledge of internal communications favourable, but other specialisms including communications and marketing considered</li><li>Understanding of effective communications practices and channels</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Benefits:</strong></strong> </p><p>As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. </p><p><strong><strong>The Communications team:</strong></strong> </p><p>Working as part of a Communications Function, to support the development and delivery of comprehensive communications and engagement strategies for the Air Sector. The primary audience for this role is the US Programmes colleague population, with occasional activity for customers and other key stakeholders.</p><p>You will be responsible for creative input, development and the production of materials for print and digital formats, to support day to day communications and specific corporate initiatives.</p><p><strong><strong>Why BAE Systems?</strong></strong> </p><p>This is a place where you'll be able to make a real difference.
