Provide technical input to multidisciplinary project teams and manage own workload with minimal supervision to meet project deadlines

Prepare concept designs and options studies that will form the basis of further development work

Participate in design reviews as required and attend engineering and project meetings: manage actions arising as required

Undertake engineering feasibility assessments, preliminary designs and reports within own sphere of responsibility to professional standards of quality to meet target dates for delivery

Contribute to the Engineering Lifecycle (ELC) process, Risk Management, Safety, Health & the Environment (SHE), Product Safety and wider project issues as directed

Undertake condition surveys, and write technical reports

Undertake site visits to active construction sites and report on construction site matters

Salary: Circa £45,000 (depending on skills and experience), You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Real Estate and Infrastructure team:
RE&I work across the BAE Systems Business units providing specialist support for construction activities. We currently act as Client representatives, Principal Designers and Designers during the Pre-construction activities.
Our projects range from office refurbishment schemes to £100m+ site regeneration projects. The team contributes with the initial feasibility through to special coordination activities (RIBA 3). We also take on a governance role through stages 4-6.
