Salary: 47,683+ depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting delivery of the team objectives in accordance with time, cost and quality
  • Supporting the definition of the Low Observable (LO) elements of vehicle configuration options
  • Participating in the design of the LO elements of vehicle design
  • Supporting the specification, monitoring, and analysis of Radar Cross Section (RCS) tests to support through Life LO activities
  • Carrying out theoretical and analytical RCS computations to support LO Design activities
  • Responsible for guiding a multidisciplinary team
  • Responsible for applying relevant engineering and design standards and processes

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:
  • An understanding of the overall systems engineering lifecycle
  • Experience working within a large, complex, multi-project environment
  • Understanding of electromagnetics
  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering toolsets e.g CAD systems, computational electromagnetic modelling, LO supportability
Desirable:
  • Experience with Multiphysics toolsets beneficial
  • Radio frequency antenna design desirable
  • CAD preparation
  • Radio frequency electronics
  • Experience of electromagnetics materials characterisation experimental methods
  • Experience of RCS (radar cross section) experimental methods
  • A degree in a STEM subject (Physics, Mathematics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Modelling) or equivalent experience
  • PHD beneficial specialising in electromagnetics (Radio frequency, terahertz, microwave)
