Responsibilities
- Creation of Joint Industry / Government (Integrated Test, Evaluation & Acceptance) ITEA plan to support the delivery of test data to certification and qualification boards.
- Maturation of International T&E schedule, identifying risks, dependencies and opportunities.
- Interfacing with all key stakeholders including engineering, manufacturing and Test and Evaluation.
- Work with the JV (Edgewing) and LSI to create T&E operating model.
- Identify SQEP requirements to discharge the programme, and work with LSI and JV capability teams to create and enact a resource strategy.
- Support to the Capability Working Group to identify Infrastructure requirements, working with the infrastructure enablers team to agree required capability milestones.
- Identify how all these activities integrate together to deliver the test data in the most efficient manner.
- Work with the digital enablers team to identify opportunities for use of digital techniques/ modelling & simulation to enable a more efficient test programme.
- Support to the design and implementation of the Combined Trials Team, containing members of the GIGO, JV, national MOD's and industry.
Your skills and experiences
Essential:
- Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle and either working towards or already gained Chartership with a relevant institute.
- Demonstrable experience in a Test and Evaluation environment.
- Use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Aircraft background either civil or military.
- Good awareness of current digital landscape.
