Salary: Up to £34,000 Dependent on skills and experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the buy of electronic components through the life of the contract and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Liaise closely with the local procurement team and other internal functions.
- Align work to pre-determined metrics and achieve schedule adherence.
- Manage allocated suppliers on performance, cost, quality, schedule and risk.
- Support and deliver supply chain and continuous improvement strategies.
- Be an advocate for the Procurement Function.
Your skills and experiences:
- Proficient electronic component buying experience.
- SAP experience.
- Experience in the defence industry (preferred but not essential).

Supply Chain Function – Manufacturing Hillend: Team of 9 people, focussed on day to day support on providing sourcing activity – covering both external and internal programmes, all end products & military applications within the defence industry. Hillend is a world class manufacturing capability.
