Job title: Business Relationship Manager Location: Barrow in Furness We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. Salary: From £56,000 dependant on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: As a Business Relationship Manager you’ll provide engagement with the business, ensuring a close relationship exists between the Lines of Business and Functions Understand business strategic direction, roadmaps, requirements, and challenges Capture business demand and support/ facilitate business definition of requirements Understand the forward view of business demand to feed into medium-term IM&T planning, e.g. contract technology release schedules Assure and provide oversight of all IM&T delivery and presenting to Stakeholders of all levels within the business Provide an IM&T interface for all IT matters – the customer face of IM&T the point of escalation for IM&T partners internally and externally Your skills and experiences: Essential: Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to apply skills and knowledge to a wide range of complex problems Demonstrable experience within a business relationship management role Previous experience from a Manufacturing, Defence, It discipline or a large corporate environment Desirable: Qualification or equivalent in (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) ITIL, or extensive relevant experience Application of Business Relationship Management (BRM)/Programme Engagement across multi-disciplinary organisations Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The IM&T Team: This position will provide you with a unique opportunity to represent IM&T in a leadership role within numerous functional area’s and programmes (Astute, Dreadnought and SSNA) engaging with the business at a strategic level and influencing the IM&T related direction . You will be working in partnership with this business area to ensure effective relationships between a number of Functions and IM&T are maintained, Strategic Investments are planned, and Critical Service issues are addressed as priority The extensive exposure gained across multiple business areas within Submarines Solutions will provide you with the opportunity to develop your career within BAE Systems.
