What You'll Be Doing
- Leading TIS Tornado technical publications team to ensure the priority and output of Technical Publications is in line with Panavia and customer processes and plans.
- Acting as the main point of contact into Panavia, working with the European partner companies to support Tornado BAES technical publications into Panavia.
- Dealing with procurement and external suppliers.
- Working with Tornado integration and project management to manage all Tornado technical publications capability work and deliver to customers as required.
- Managing monthly report packs and any ad‐hoc reporting as required.
- Being the Interface into the Panavia Service Delivery Manager (SDM) for dial‐in meetings and the Tech Pubs Management Group (TPMG) meetings at Panavia.
Your Skills And Experiences
- HNC/HND or equivalent experience in a STEM discipline.
- Understanding of Integrated Logistics Support.
- Effective management, communication and analytical skills.
- Proficient in the use of IT systems and standard office‐style applications.
- Knowledge of technical publications working practices or technical authoring – desirable.

The Tornado Technical Publications Team
The Tornado technical publications team are responsible for providing the technical publications for the Tornado aircraft. The team work closely with the Tornado modifications team and also with integration and design engineers to support the Tornado technical publications. There are frequent interactions with Panavia to support our European partner companies for the technical publications for which BAES is responsible. The team receive technical publication queries from all operators and generate the subsequent updated technical publications for export customers and into Panavia.
