Salary: £50,600 + dependent on experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading, for the team, on pipeline and demand discussions with stakeholders – collaborating with Group Cyber, Business Groups to understand and capture our future project pipeline in accordance with the planned / unplanned criteria. This includes translating enterprise roadmap into planned and unplanned work.
- Acting as first point of escalation for all relevant Business Group / BRM project escalations.
- Providing responses to project requests in accordance with the process and agreed SLA’s and working across the cyber change project portfolio, liaising directly with Portfolio Delivery Leads, Service Technical Authorities and Service Managers as well as Group Cyber.
- Collaborating with Project Management Office on knowledge transfer and simplification of PM approaches across the business, and with all appropriate Portfolio Managers to present a consolidated report of project performance across the Business Group.
- Supporting Business Group and Group Cyber Portfolio Delivery Reviews.
- Demonstrating successful delivery of agreed benefits (or that appropriate mechanisms are in place to track and realise benefits).
Your Skills And Experiences:
- Well-developed inter-personal, communication and diplomacy skills with a strong ability to persuade and influence client and stakeholder relationships.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills including estimating.
- Knowledge of project delivery methodologies (Life Cycle Management / APM).
- Competent understanding of financial and budgetary management concepts within a portfolio/project environment and creation of Business Cases.
- Knowledge of Service Management (ITIL).

The Cyber & Information Security Change Team:
The purpose of this role is to provide a collaborative relationship between project delivery and the Enterprise – concentrating on the early phases of initiatives. You will be acting as the main interface between project teams and project and stakeholders to ensure that requirements are gathered, interpreted accurately and within agreed time scales whilst ensuring that stakeholders are kept updated on progress.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to liaise with a multitude of stakeholders and operate in a business facing role. Due to the nature of the role, you will gain significant exposure to our stakeholders so success in this role could lead to future opportunities either within the team or the wider BAE Systems business.
