Salary: Starting from £14,527 - £23,493 per annum dependent on age, with annual progression through the scheme duration.
What you'll be doing:
- Undertake comprehensive training in an on-the-job and off-the-job environment.
- Work as part of a qualified scaffolding team, gaining responsibility for the safe construction and dismantling of standard and bespoke working platforms, both at low levels and at height.
- Attend a CITB Scaffold training course in two-week blocks, four times annually at an approved Backburn provider, gaining further practical experience in a workplace production environment.
- Learn the basic skills of using relevant hand tools and machinery together with Health & Safety requirements for your role before progressing on to more in-depth training in the use of scaffolding systems and techniques.
