What you'll be doing:
As a Quality Control Apprentice, you will be involved in working from customer and engineering drawings, data and documentation to carry out the inspection, testing, validation, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of issues experienced in manufacturing processes. This can range from both existing legacy and new product introduction within a complex manufacturing site.
The role may include:
- Quality planning (utilising quality management plans to deliver reliable outputs)
- Quality Assurance (providing confidence to our stakeholders that quality standards have been met)
- Quality Control (verifying a product or service to an agreed specification)
- Continuous Improvement (preventing recurrence of poor quality)

As part of the Platforms & Services sector, Weapon Systems designs, manufactures and supports artillery systems, naval guns, and provides engineering capability. We are looking for innovation, commitment and drive to help define the future of Weapon Systems capabilities.
