Salary: Starting from £18,023 with annual progression through the scheme duration.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver safe, capable processes for optimised Test and Evaluation disciplines to specified standards
  • Delivery of Trials Engineering tasks
  • Gaining knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of new trials techniques
  • Assisting in the maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Using computer software to enable data capture through appropriate hardware
  • Executing and reporting results from Test and Evaluation trials
  • Ensuring there is a detailed Safe System of Work in place for the new techniques you develop
  • Assisting with the movements of stores around site using a forklift truck

Qualification

SVQ Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering at SCQF Level 6 | EAL. To achieve this qualification, you will be expected to attend Glasgow Clyde College full-time during the first year.

Requirements

  • Aged 18 years+ by the start date for health and safety reasons
  • Full driving licence to be able to drive site vehicles
