What you'll be doing:

  • A Fabricator will work from engineering drawings to develop patterns to enable the fabrication of components and assemblies to the required specification.
  • Utilise a range of powered and non-powered tools and equipment to include, but not limited to, guillotine, rollers, folding machines and drills.
  • Work on Royal Navy ships that are in upkeep or maintenance periods, repairing and upgrading the ships' structure, including manufacturing components for new additions.

All applicants must, as a minimum, achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.

Qualification requirements: 5 GCSEs at grade 9-3 / A*-E (or equivalent) which must include Maths & English.
