Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Cumbria)

Salary: Starting from £14,527 - £23,493 per annum dependent on age, with annual progression through the scheme duration.

Responsibilities:

  • Working from planned drawings to install, terminate and test all electrical equipment within a Submarine environment.
  • Develop competence in the fabrication and fitting of a variety of cable supports, penetrations and the installation of electrical equipment using different types of resilience mounts.
  • Crimping and termination are an important part of this role where attention to detail and the ability to produce defect-free work is essential.
  • Opportunity to work on a variety of electrical systems e.g. lighting, fire detection and communication systems.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, specialist components and equipment in nuclear reactors and services electrical testing environments.
