What you'll be doing:
- Work from engineering drawings, using data and documentation to carry out the manufacture, installation, testing, commissioning, fault diagnosis and maintenance of process equipment, i.e. mechanical, electrical, electronic, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. This can range between utility and service distribution and equipment to highly automated munition manufacturing equipment.
- Fault finding on energised systems, i.e. electrical, robots, servo drives, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Planned maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Planned maintenance on ATEX equipment (ATEX means equipment certified safe to use in an explosive environment).
- Fault finding and programming on PLC's.
- Continuous improvement projects.
- Energy saving projects.
