What You’ll Be Doing
- Manufacture, test, diagnosis, investigation, repair and modification of complex Radar, Avionics and underwater military products.
- Gain a detailed understanding of assembly techniques, electrical wiring, mechanical fitting, printed circuit board (PCB) assembly and microelectronics processing.
- Upon successful completion of the Assembly and Test Engineering Apprenticeship, the apprentice will be able to perform complex assembly/disassembly or modification tasks to industry standards such as IPC and ANSIJ on electronic or mechanical components, subassemblies and systems – encompassing new build, repairs products or prototype products.
