What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the commercial aspects of bids and proposals from initial engagement through to contract award
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers in line with company policies and governance
  • Interpret and communicate customer requirements to internal stakeholders
  • Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks while maximising business opportunities
  • Support contract management activities to ensure delivery against financial and contractual commitments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage change and drive successful outcomes
  • Represent BAE Systems externally, building strong stakeholder relationships and travelling as required

Essential:

  • An awareness of the aspects of the Law that affect the activities of the business
  • Familiarity with typical internal governance requirements

We are responsible for managing customer relationships, negotiating deals, creating innovative solutions, and providing guidance on contractual, regulatory and governance matters.
