What you’ll be doing:
- Act as the Primary integration engineering point of contact for Typhoon Product development, meeting requirements for quality, timeliness and performance aspects.
- Provide engineering programme integration for Typhoon Product development, ensuring all governance and processes are followed with associated engineering planning, management and review activities.
- Develop relationships with internal customers/stakeholders and external partners to understand programme needs, technology/product strategies and supply chain capabilities in order to identify and manage programme level risks and opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Engineering for the Programme and undertake the business reporting required by the programme.
- Ensure sufficient integration, test and evaluation activities are undertaken so that supporting integrations are fully compliant and delivered within agreed requirements for cost, quality, time and schedule.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience Systems and Software architecting.
- Practical application of good Systems Engineering (Hardware & Software) practices across the entire lifecycle with a particular focus on early concept development, architecture development and integration with a particular focus on design for re-use.
- Requirements capture and management within ill-defined and rapidly changing environments, ideally based on the Agile management of programmes vs traditional waterfall approaches.
Desirable:
- Product Security / Secure by Design background.

The Typhoon Product Strategy Team:
An opportunity has arisen in Typhoon Product Development to lead the Rig Integration and Infrastructure team to support the development and delivery of our specific rig environments and programmes within Typhoon Product Development Scope (Cockpit development, Common compute, 5th Generation Human Man Interfaces, Crewed and Uncrewed Teaming and Information Interop).
The Technology Demonstration & Integration Manager will work with Air Sector Service Delivery Units, FalconWorks Systems, Platform teams, Digital Intelligence and key external partners/suppliers to scope, develop and deliver the capability in line with the Typhoon Product development road-map.
