What you’ll be doing:

Maintaining and updating design documentation for in-service Small Arms Ammunition

Prepare technical documentation including certificates of design, technical reports and procurement specifications

Investigation of incidents involving in-service Munitions at any stage of their manufacture, storage, transportation or usage lifecycles.

Provide technical expertise to product safety and environmental management systems
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:

Apprenticeship in Mechanical/ Manufacturing or related subject, or equivalent experience

The BAE Systems SAA Through-Life Support Team
Join a dynamic engineering team which responds to product design and manufacturing challenges where no two days are the same. As a Through-Life Support Engineer in Small Arms Ammunition, you’ll report to a Senior Engineer and will primarily be involved within the in-service phase of the product lifecycle where you provide critical post design services to ensure safe, and compliant products for the customer.
