What you’ll be doing: During your Placement you will have the opportunity to learn more about BAE Systems, and the digital support services work we do. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your learning from the classroom, and develop technical skills in the workplace. This 30–45 day placement will include time at our training facilities and our on‑site workplaces, gaining experience by contributing to real projects. You’ll have an opportunity to work with our apprentices and employees, who will provide valuable insights into their roles and career journey. The placement will run between October 2026 and February 2027 and specific dates and times will be communicated if your application is successful.
Your skills and experience: To apply, you must have or be on track to achieve 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics, English, and Science/Technical Subject by August 2027. You must also be completing a T Level in Digital, and in your second year of study by the time the placements start in October 2026. We will accept all Digital pathways (Digital Business Services, Digital Production, Design and Development, and Digital Support Services) for this opportunity. Please ensure you add the details of your current T Level course on your application form.
Benefits: Following the Industrial Placement, you could be offered a full-time position on one of our apprenticeship schemes, starting in autumn 2027.
