What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for the Health, Safety and well-being of all employees and ensure they operate in accordance with Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Managing & deploying all service provisions within a large manufacturing facility, effectively organising the diverse service teams to ensure all build requirements can be energised with the requirements to support the demands of the build programme.
- Ensuring compliance for all plant & equipment utilised in the facility and the training requirements for all team members.
- Driving continuous improvement within the department, ensuring process adherence and effective planning for people, plant, equipment, process, training and ultimately performance within their Service Team and areas of responsibility. This includes the adoption, implementation and deployment of new technology, updating processes in line with changes in legislation, when required.
- Liaising with internal & external departments, driving the delivery & maintenance of all lifting gear / scaffolding / hot work plant & equipment & extraction, cherry pickers & scissor lift requirements, to support the daily demands of the facility.
Your skills and experiences:
- Supervisory Management Qualification and /or Management Experience.
- Services / Governance background.
- Understanding of current legislations and regulations.
- Experience in training team members & updating & maintaining training records to support safe working practice.
- Experienced in working in a busy production environment, an understanding of facility service demands including: – electrical, mechanical, hot-work, scaffolding, confined space, bio-hazard cleaning, lift plans & lifting gear requirements, etc.
- Strong Leadership skills, good communication and relationship building skills.

The Service Area Manager team:
You will be leading and managing work across a trade area management team, to ensure safe assembly, production, testing and ultimate delivery of the boat through the Facility, in line with the agreed timescale, quality standards and cost. You will undertake the contracted scope as agreed with the Boat Delivery Manager.
