Location: Radway Green/Glascoed

Salary: Up to £43,000 depending on skills and experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Procurement data is accurate and available for strategic sourcing decisions
  • Manage all Suppliers’ security and export related requirements, due diligence, NDAs and other compliance requirements
  • Manage internal stakeholders effectively to ensure timely completion of sourcing activities and strategy creation
  • Work on current contracts, supporting bids for new and existing products in addition to general supply chain requirements
  • Negotiate pricing and contracting terms and conditions as applicable
  • Work with Procurement Delivery Team on efficient handovers
  • Maintain data accuracy for Energetics Category

Skills and Qualifications

  • Good understanding and experience of SAP processes as well as working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-functional team to deliver business objectives
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to influence at all levels and manage stakeholders’ expectations
  • Project Management experience

The Energetic Strategy Procurement team

You will be able to demonstrate dedication, commitment and discipline to ensure successful delivery of key objectives and have the ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders. You will communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, exercising appropriate levels of courtesy, diplomacy and tact, in line with the Business’s Code of Conduct. You will be able to discuss details involving the category area, including technical information where appropriate, and able to negotiate tactically both with suppliers, and internally at an operational level. Willingness to travel to suppliers to participate in business reviews and be embedded with suppliers as part of Supplier Performance improvement activity.
