Salary: Circa £80,000 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Management & integration of multi-disciplined engineering teams; leadership of engineering resources, delivery of engineering support to site major projects.
- Delivery of engineering aspects of projects to meet both customer and contractual obligations including engineering conflicts between disciplines, systems and capabilities.
- Ensure developed solutions are clearly defined, integrated, configured, controlled and delivered, including resolution of conflicts and integration issues that occur through development and delivery phases to meet site requirements.
- Support risk management strategies to influence project decisions.
- Perform appropriate engineering planning, management and review activities to ensure Projects are integrated, safe, fully compliant.
Your skills and experiences:
- Essential: Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience that would support a Chartered membership application to a relevant institute.
- Previous experience of leading diverse engineering teams in a regulated environment.
- Diverse Project engineering background with a good understanding of key legal obligations for supporting large scale infrastructure projects.
- Desirable: Experience in CDM/RIBA/LCMS relating to infrastructure/construction projects.
- Demonstrable experience of supporting major infrastructure projects.
- Working in highly regulated industries such as Oil & Gas/Rail/Aerospace/Nuclear.

The Site Project Engineering Team:
As the Principal Project Engineering Manager, you will support the Chief Engineer in leading a multi-disciplined project engineering team to deliver deployed engineering support across a large portfolio infrastructure project with various budgets. You will ensure all projects have appropriate engineering support to enable delivery within cost and schedule in a safe, legal and compliant manner.
