Overview

Job Title: Graduate Submarines Nuclear Safety Regulation

Location: Barrow (Cumbria)

We offer relocation support packages for this role, subject to meeting eligibility criteria. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements; however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision, provide advice and information to departments, organisations and/or stakeholders on issues related to Nuclear Safety.
  • Contribute to the delivery of Nuclear Safety documentation in accordance with relevant department/project/programme plans.
  • Contribute to demonstration of compliance against nuclear and environmental regulations.
  • Gain knowledge of Nuclear Law in the UK and the Nuclear Industry and its regulation.
  • Facilitate programme delivery through innovative engineering solutions.

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or applicable STEM subject.
