Job title: Graduate Submarines Electrical Engineer

Location: Barrow (Cumbria)
We offer relocation support packages for this role, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-4 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

What you’ll be doing:
As our Graduate Electrical Engineer, you’ll be part of developing solutions to complex technical questions, supporting in-service upgrades for Submarine platforms.
• Playing a pivotal part in power engineering, electronic product content, optimising hardware, and software design concepts.
• Supporting development of sophisticated design processes and testing complex products.
• Maintaining our existing systems and developing new technologies.
• Assessment of equipment and fault diagnosis (smaller electronics and large power distribution equipment such as motors, batteries, and variable speed drives)
• Conducting laboratory tests, data analysis, and the preparation of technical reports for new technology.
