About the OPPORTUNITY
We have a new opportunity for an Electronics Assembler to join our team based at Edinburgh Parks SA. You will be responsible for assembling circuit boards and wiring looms as part of a fast‑paced defence production team at Edinburgh Parks. You’ll follow precise instructions, uphold quality standards, and work collaboratively to deliver reliable electronic components.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assemble PCBs and wiring looms to defence standards
- Hand solder components with precision
- Perform wiring and looming to IPC/MIL specifications
- Maintain safety, quality, and tool care in a fast‑paced environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration
About YOU
- Experience in complex electronic circuit card assembly and inspection (preferred but not essential)
- Certification in J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC 7711/7721 (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in a defence manufacturing environment
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations
