What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of a Software Engineering team, you’ll work with our customers to build systems supporting their core mission capabilities. You’ll be part of empowered, autonomous DevOps teams with regular contact with end-users to understand, design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications and services.
- Contribute to refinement of non-functional requirements
- Drive prioritisation and delivery of backlogs
- Implement security best practices and recommendations, often through developed services and automation
- Facilitate effective relationships between third-party suppliers and Home Office platform teams
- Participate in workstream and project Scrum ceremonies
- Raise issues and risks appropriately
- Operate in small cross-functional engineering teams to build supportable, sustainable, and reliable services
- Create quality documentation and Jira ticket commentary
