Location: Radway Green, Crewe; Glascoed, South Wales; or Washington, Tyne & Wear

Salary: Circa £68,000 depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as a key focal point for business development across the Land UK business
  • Enabling business growth through effective order pipeline management and prioritisation of resources
  • Owning key customer and partner relationships across both the UK and international markets
  • Influencing and shaping our customer engagement activities
  • Ensuring excellence in business winning capability and culture across the team
  • Leading and developing a team of direct reports
  • Deputising for the Business Development and Strategy Director where required

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Extensive experience working in Business Development, within a highly regulated industry
  • Shipley business winning training or equivalent
  • Experience in securing major defence contracts
  • Deep understanding of Business Development processes
  • Ability to foster strong relationships at a range of levels
  • Demonstrable leadership skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in leading small teams of business development professionals
  • Successful track record in delivering change within teams
