BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is home to 4,500 digital, cyber and intelligence experts. We work collaboratively across 10 countries to collect, connect and understand complex data, so that governments, nation states, armed forces and commercial businesses can unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments.
Our Business Analysts work closely with our clients, acting as the interface between client needs and technical delivery. They support our clients in improving their products and/or services through process improvement, requirements gathering and data analysis. Business Analysts apply appropriate techniques to define, manage and support the implementation of effective solutions to our clients’ business issues.
Skills & Experience Required
- Ability to plan, lead and facilitate effective workshops
- Able to plan analysis/requirements elements of projects, and lead that for small-medium projects
- Ability to perform stakeholder analysis, mapping influence, impact and commitment of each stakeholder
- Lead requirements gathering, process analysis and improvement and data analysis to produce key outputs and artefacts for clients
- Leads the client engagement for specific areas of work
- Identification of areas for improvement, documenting and articulating these to stakeholders and will support the implementation of any resulting solutions.
- Take ownership of one or more areas of work including planning, identifying risks and regular reports to the project manager
- Investigates operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes
- Have a clear understanding of the client’s organisation and goals and use this to design appropriate activities and outputs to meet client needs.
- Management of junior colleagues & providing oversight of their work
- Contributes to sales and business-winning activities such as bid contribution, supporting proposition development
- Experience working with Borders and/or Law Enforcement customers/problem spaces would be very advantageous.
