Description

This apprenticeship insight experience introduces BAE Systems, engineering and our early careers programmes. This is a hybrid event delivered over four sessions, with two sessions online and two sessions on-site at various locations across the UK.

You’ll have an opportunity to learn more about us, gain hands on experience and visit our sites. There will also be opportunities to meet our current engineering apprentices, who will provide insights into their role and share their experience.

As part of the insight experience, you will interview for one of our Level 3 Advanced Fabrication apprenticeships and could be offered a full-time position such as a Welder or Steelworker.

Dates: 4 sessions delivered between Monday 12 January 2026 and Friday 6 February 2026. Specific dates will be confirmed prior to programme start date.

Please Note

  • If you are over 18, and the questions do not apply to you, please enter N/A
  • By August 2026, you must have achieved, or be on track to achieve the qualifications required for the role
  • If selected for the programme, you will be required to provide a valid in date photographic ID e.g. passport, provisional driving licence, full driving licence to complete the On-Site sessions.
  • You must be able to travel to the site for which you have applied, and you are fully responsible for any associated travel costs and expenses
