As an FCAS Investments Projects Programme & Bid Manager, you will be leading and coordinating the required Project Management support and governance of Infrastructure and Construction Strategy and Delivery. You will be capable of anticipating and autonomously assessing the impact of customer decisions through all functional areas considering the impact on elements such as Finance, Delivery, Schedule, Bid, Resourcing, Recruitment and Risk. You will offer a solution-focused service to the Head of Department and your peers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance and alignment with the aircraft programmes FCAS Secure Infrastructure team, and at times their external customer, on all matters related to the creation, submission, approval and reporting of the Investment Projects Bid process.
  • Coordinating the master Infrastructure and Facilities Services (I&FS) Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Working with the Scheduling Hub, Delivery Managers, FCAS programme, Consultants and other critical functions to ensure a fully logic linked position.
  • Being responsible for alignment with the central function on all matters Project Control on behalf of the FCAS IP department at both Portfolio and Project level.
  • Ensuring consistency on reporting with our customers and peer functions.
  • Supporting in the down selection, management and governance of an externally procured Strategic Delivery Partner in regards to PM services.
  • The management, recruitment, succession and development planning of your team aligned to both I&FS and the PM functions processes.

Qualifications:

  • Commercial and/or construction experience.
  • Ability to lead and manage a small team of people in delivering their objectives individually and collectively.
  • Significant experience of influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience applying problem-solving techniques to present complex situations and effectively report on project, programme and/or portfolio performance to senior leadership/stakeholders.

The FCAS Estates & Infrastructure Team:

In the role of FCAS Investment Projects (IP), Programme & Bid Integration Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Head of FCAS Estates & Infrastructure and his Delivery Managers in the development of an Estates and Infrastructure PM solution for the FCAS business.

This role involves a 10-year period and amasses a total spend on buildings and infrastructure alone in excess of £2bn, over 70-100 individual projects. In this role, you will make a key addition to a newly formed department and management team.
