This role is pivotal to delivering the BAE Systems bid in supporting the UK F‐35 aircraft fleet. You will help shape a complex, multi‐partner solution across BAE Systems, and wider industry stakeholders, working closely with industry and government. The next‐generation Lightning Air system National Capability Enterprise (LANCE) bid seeks to embed transformation principles to evolve a proven support model, ensuring UK‐unique capability, readiness, and resilience.
- Lead aspects of bid management, including Lifecycles Management (LCM) reviews.
- Deploy business winning policies and process, including Operational Framework, LCM and capture plans, to ensure LANCE bid activities are consistent and compliant with business requirements.
- You will hold a recognised professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, ICAEW or equivalent).
- You will have considerable knowledge of financial systems (e.g., SAP, Infor LN, Sage) and be comfortable using Microsoft tools, including Excel.
- You will be able to interpret multi-faceted financial data and communicate insights clearly to colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- You will be able to identify control weaknesses and help deliver effective, sustainable improvements.
