The Air Support and Services function are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative engineer to join the Engineering Master Data Management Team. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for the development, deployment and maintenance of a Master Data Management tool.

This is an exciting opportunity that will allow you to play a key role in maintaining Master Data Records, ensuring that systems data and downstream systems data are consistent with the Master Data.

You will be responsible for:

  • Making changes to cleanse and maintain Master Data Management data within the Master Data Management Hub, with the approval of the Data Management Data Stewards.
  • Adherence to and compliance with Key Performance Indicators and Metrics.
  • Monitoring and acting on the Engineering Data Inconsistency Reports for data quality.
  • Testing various systems and data during IT System development and acquisition.
  • Escalating to the Data Stewards any violation of standards that may arise.
  • Working with Data Stewards and our IT teams to incorporate all source systems into the Master Data Management Hub.
  • Communicating with project teams, supply chain and procurement, to discover all source systems used.
  • Documenting interfaces and integrating these into the Master Data Management Hub.
  • Ensuring that correct processes and procedures are developed and maintained by the Master Data Management Hub.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in the practical application of Systems Engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of Data Engineering/Data Science/Data Analysis principles.

The Air Engineering Master Data Management Team is responsible for driving data excellence across Air Support Services, whilst developing and sustaining a central Master Data Management hub. The team ensures the delivery of consistent engineering data, enabling strategic decision making while embedding good data governance and supporting enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives and activities.
