Job Description: You’ll play a key role within a data-driven environment, supporting the development of data foundations that enable smarter strategy-making across the organisation. Working with advanced data tools and business systems, you’ll evaluate highly detailed datasets, design data solutions and contribute to building scalable data models that support a wide range of projects within the Air Data and Analytics programme. You’ll collaborate with architects, analysts and business stakeholders to shape how data is structured, integrated and used, ensuring quality and consistency across systems. This role offers exposure to innovative data projects, opportunities to influence enterprise data strategy and ample development potential within a growing, forward-thinking data function.
Core duties:
- Reviewing multi-faceted data from business systems, identifying trends and designing solutions to support strategy-making
- Developing and maintaining data models, supporting conceptual, logical and physical structures across domains
- Collaborating with architects and stakeholders to align data solutions with business and technical requirements
- Supporting data integration and quality activities, ensuring consistency across systems and information flows
- Applying data standards and best practices, improving how data is structured, overseen and used across the organisation
Essential Skills:
- Extensive experience in data evaluation across the full lifecycle, delivering insights from multi-faceted datasets
- Ample knowledge of system integration and relational databases, including interface design and data structures
- Experience in data modelling and information architecture, supporting scalable and structured data solutions
- Ability to communicate advanced technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders through presentations and reports
- Considerable problem-solving skills, applying evaluative thinking to address business and data inquiries
