Job Description: This role leads the day-to-day support of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM Unified service, managing incidents and service requests through ServiceNow. It involves maintaining a robust support knowledge base, collaborating with external vendors, international partners, and third-party teams on data transfers, and ensuring effective infrastructure monitoring and fault resolution. The role also delivers clear reporting on service performance and toolset data to support continuous improvement.
Core duties:
- Lead and own the day-to-day application support for the Siemens Teamcenter PLM Unified service, ensuring stability, availability, and a high-quality user experience.
- Manage and resolve incidents and service requests through ServiceNow, prioritising workload effectively and driving issues through to timely resolution.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the support knowledge base, enabling faster resolution times and continuous improvement across the support function.
- Collaborate closely with external vendors, international partners, and third-party support teams to coordinate data transfers and resolve complex cross-system issues.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, identifying faults early and leading effective resolution or escalation to minimise service disruption.
- Analyse and report on toolset data and service performance statistics, providing clear insights to support decision-making and service optimisation.
Essential Skills:
- Siemens Teamcenter PLM Unified – Significant hands-on experience providing application support, troubleshooting, and service optimisation within a complex enterprise environment.
- PI Release Support – Experience supporting and stabilising Teamcenter PI releases, including issue resolution, validation, and post-release support activities.
- Engineering Support – Proven experience supporting engineering users and processes, with a strong understanding of technical workflows and system dependencies.
- Service Management – Solid service management experience, including incident, problem, and request handling, aligned with ITIL best practices and ServiceNow workflows.
The Engineering Systems Competency Centre PLM Support Team is a small, diverse and highly skilled team supporting our end users across the Design, Planning and Manufacturing disciplines on a wide variety of Air platforms. We ensure our Engineering community have the toolsets and guidance needed to design and build the next generation of Air Defence products. With a particular focus on supporting multiple Siemens Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments, this role requires a highly skilled, self-motivated, problem-solving individual who can adapt quickly and, with the available training and support, is open to continuous professional development.
