A key Project Management role has arisen on our £8bn Type-26 programme and we are seeking a high performing driven individual to take on the next challenge in their Project Management career.
The Type 26 Global Combat Ship Programme is one of the UK’s flagship naval shipbuilding projects. As we continue our transition from delivery of the first-of-class vessel through to repeat build and batch production, our project and programme management teams are responsible for ensuring that we deliver to our contractual commitments in terms of schedule and cost, while constantly seeking out opportunities to improve upon our budgeted positions.
The Project Manager supports the Shipbuild Project Delivery team, delivering assigned scopes such as discrete projects, work packages, or multiple Control Accounts. Reporting to the Ship Head of Project, they act as a Control.
