Job Description: This role will support the delivery of complex data migration activity across key Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Working as part of a highly visible team, you’ll help assess, transform and migrate business-critical data, ensuring accuracy, consistency and readiness for deployment into target systems. You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and technical teams to understand data structures, resolve data issues and support successful migration delivery across multiple project phases.
Core duties:
- Assess source data and document source-to-target mappings to support migration planning and validation
- Perform data cleansing and transformation activities to prepare high-quality datasets for migration
- Develop and execute migration scripts, ETL processes and repeatable workflows across multiple migration cycles
- Work collaboratively with business SMEs and technical teams to define and document migration rules and resolve data issues
- Carry out data validation, reconciliation and defect analysis to support accurate data transfer
- Support cutover activity, post-migration verification and issue resolution during deployment phases
Essential Skills:
- Experience supporting or delivering data migration activity
- Stakeholder communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience analysing, validating and transforming data sets
- Ability to manage complex data issues and support problem resolution activities
The team supports critical ERP transformation activity across the business, delivering data migration solutions that underpin operational and enterprise systems. Working closely with technical specialists, project teams and business stakeholders, the team plays a key role in ensuring data quality, integrity and successful migration delivery across complex programmes.
