You will be responsible for implementing Air's Help Desk service – a "Security Front Door" across Air (UK) sites. Innovating how we drive security outcomes across BAE Systems Air sector keeping us safe, secure and compliant.
You will lead a 3rd party vendor team of security staff to deliver a consistent service. As a security SME you will use your judgement and expertise to shape and drive performance.
You will agree and manage performance targets, drive innovation into the way Air triages and manages security support into the business. You will be responsible for maintaining a number of Core Services to multiple Air Sector Sites including Access Control, Visitor Management, Permit Issue and 1st Line Security Enquiry Responses.
As a Security SME, you will ensure the Helpdesk has access to and in turn can inform policy creation across the security function. You will contribute to site operations and incident management planning and response.
You will be a security SME with experience from either military, defence industry, national security settings. You will have demonstrated experience of and interest in delivering data led security initiatives. Experience in process management with a keen eye for detail, with experience in creating and leveraging security policies.
Good influencing skills and experience in interacting and communicating with different management levels. To have a proactive approach to solving problems, working with the wider team to develop solutions.
