What you will be doing:

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of maintenance solutions for the Dreadnought programme by identifying spare parts requirements and developing maintenance task instructions. You’ll work closely with engineering data, technical documentation, and a range of stakeholders to support effective through-life support and sustainment activities.

You’ll play a key role in analysing engineering information, breaking down equipment structures, and supporting Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities across major submarine programmes.

Core duties:

  • Create maintenance solutions for the Dreadnought programme, including identifying spares and onboard support requirements
  • Collate and review technical information including drawings and manuals
  • Interpret engineering drawings and break down equipment into disassembly sequences
  • Develop and write maintenance task instructions
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support programme delivery
  • Support Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and Supply Support activities across submarine programmes

Essential Skills:

  • Previous stakeholder management experience
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to engage across multiple teams
  • Competent using computer systems and digital tools
  • Ability to interpret and work with technical information
  • Experience working with TeamCentre
  • Engineering qualification or previous experience within an engineering environment
  • Awareness or experience of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities

The Logistic Support Analysis Team:

The team is made up of experienced professionals supporting both the Dreadnought and Astute programmes, with a primary focus on identifying and managing spare parts requirements for maintenance activities. Although this role is focused on the Dreadnought programme, there will also be opportunities to gain exposure to the Astute programme and wider submarine support activities. The team continues to grow, offering excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression within Integrated Logistics Support. You’ll benefit from a flexible and hybrid working environment, ongoing programme activity, and long-term job stability. Relocation support packages are available across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
