As a Mission & Information Systems Engineer, you will support the team and assist in delivering mission system capabilities, focusing on simulation for training and rehearsal. You will help develop design options, produce documentation, and create system models, contributing to the delivery of integrated aircraft mission systems aligned with programme requirements.

  • Support model and design work using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Help with requirements and Air System Specification
  • Support risk, issues, and actions tracking

HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant STEM subject (Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Physics/Maths/Science)

Experience in aerospace or a related engineering/technology field

Understanding of systems engineering and lifecycle processes

Ability to analyse and apply system design data to problems

The Mission Systems Engineering Integration Team: You will join a newly established multi-site team focused on the design and implementation of aircraft mission systems. You will be understanding requirements and liaising with suppliers (e.g. radar and equipment providers), as well as collaborating with internal engineering delivery teams, including software, systems, electrical, weapons, and structural design functions.
