Role description:

Support the management and delivery of the River Class Destroyer (RCD) engineering query management system and all associated engineering process documentation. In supporting this work scope, this role will assist in all aspects of engineering query management capability. You will work within a multi-discipline team serving as the main interface, point-of-contact, and escalation route both internally and externally. This will include assisting in the development and agreement of detailed applicable cross-company engineering processes, ensuring customer needs are met, and driving a continuous improvement approach.

Core Duties:

  • Assist in developing a fit for purpose engineering query management system/capability for deployment on RCD programme – working with key customer stakeholders.
  • Support the deployment and management of the engineering query management system and capability for BAE Systems Naval Ships query resolution.
  • Create and document new engineering requirements for company-to-company query interface capability (including supporting development of RCD Automated Gateway between BAE and ISI) and engage closely with RCD programme and Naval Ships digital demand governance processes and change boards.
  • Working with the DD&C Data Team, support establishment and maintenance of a commensurate reporting capability to measure engineering query management performance against the.
