As part of the Electrical Power team, you will be leading a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, delivering Power Systems design and development and defining the system elements required to feed into the submarine design and build process, including design documentation, spatial modelling and build outputs. This role will provide you with an opportunity to travel to various locations throughout the UK, including various BAE, customer and supplier sites.
- You'll be leading & managing an engineering team to deliver the functional design and definition of Electrical Power Systems equipment.
- You'll be managing the processes and reviews of technical documentation & associated technical risks, assumptions and dependencies.
- You'll provide advice on electrical power technical aspects across a broad range of engineering disciplines.
Engineering degree or HND with substantial experience in Electrical Engineering design / development.
Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems.
