We are currently seeking to fill the position of PA to the Head & Alumnae Officer at Badminton School. We are looking for a PA to the Head and Alumnae Officer to take responsibility for the day to day running of the Head's Office and to coordinate alumnae relations at the school.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head with organisational tasks both short and long term.
- Responsible for the Head's incoming and outgoing email/mail, maintaining and organising secure filing systems to ensure confidentiality.
- Arrange meetings and events (including End of Term School meetings) collating appropriate notes and materials for the Head.
- Attend meetings as and when required and taking minutes where needed (taking responsibility for all school staff Meetings, SLT minutes, SMT agendas and published minutes).
- Be responsible for the collation and filing of all complaints, concerns, incidents and sanctions ensuring the Head completes termly report for Governors.
- Responsible for information gathering, documentation, reports and information for Governors when required.
- Maintain and update the alumnae database (Raiser's Edge) with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Actively research lives and careers of alumnae to build a detailed, individual profile.
- Identify and contact former pupils to proactively grow the alumnae network.
- Support the organisation of events to increase engagement including at Celebrating Badminton Day and by facilitating year group reunions.
Experience:
- Experience of providing high-level administrative support.
- Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and management skills.
- Experience of working in a school or education environment and an understanding of safeguarding in school would be an advantage but is not essential.
