Badminton Wales is the National Governing Body for Wales. Badminton Wales Community consists of the Board of Directors, Sub Committees, Operational Team and network of competitive clubs, social clubs, coaches, volunteers and members throughout the country, responsible for all aspects of the sport, from grassroots participation to performance.
The Business Development Executive is an exciting new role within Badminton Wales, playing a key part in driving commercial growth, developing partnership opportunities, and maintaining strong external relationships that support the organisation’s strategy and objectives.
Location: National coverage (Office Location: Badminton Wales HQ, SWNC, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff)
Job Description:
- Commercial Partnerships: Lead the development and delivery of partnership and sponsorship opportunities for Badminton Wales, from prospecting and outreach through to negotiation, contracting, activation, and long-term growth.
- Partnership Strategy: Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to shape compelling partnerships that align with the organisation’s vision, digital priorities, and growth objectives.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses, community partners, organisations, and key stakeholders to position Badminton Wales at the forefront of commercial opportunity.
