Job Overview
Full-time RVN required, part time considered. This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. We are an independent mixed practice located in Northiam, East Sussex. The role would be predominantly small animal but with a good amount of large animal work. We have a friendly team with a varied caseload.
Duties
- Assist veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor anaesthesia and patient recovery to ensure safety and comfort at all times.
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and cytology to aid diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Provide compassionate nursing care, including wound management, medication administration, and nutritional support.
- Maintain accurate medical records, update patient files, and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, preventive health measures, and medication administration.
- Support the team with inventory management of medical supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for all procedures.
- The role would also involve being on call on a basis of approximately 1 in 6 weekends and less one night during the working week. Being based within a 20 minute radius of the practice for on call is required.
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary experience.
- Certification as a Registered Veterinary Nurse or equivalent qualification recognized by relevant veterinary authorities.

Pay: £25,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
