Responsibilities
- INVENTORY/STORES: Inventory control, investigation and allocation, cycle counts (weekly), controlling levels of consumables / stock (maintain stock accuracy), stocktaking (when required), keeping a clean and tidy warehouse.
- INBOUND: Receipt of materials, returns / warranty processing, putting stock away into correct locations (both on the shelf and on the system).
- OUTBOUND: Domestic shipping, international shipping including commercial invoices and any additional requirements, order picking, order packing, running pick reports.
- ADMIN: Liaising with Sales / Projects teams / Engineers / Purchasing / Customers, managing shared Stores Inbox (queries, requests, issues), raising any issues with correct departments, keeping all documents up to date in real-time, adhering to H&S regulations, 5s Audit / walkabout (monthly), attend any Teams meetings as requested, attend training session when required.
Qualification
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Shipping using UPS (direct), and World Options (DHL, FedEx, TNT).
- Knowledge of international shipping & customs.
- Organised and able to work well under pressure.
- Able to work towards targets / deadlines and manage own workload.
- Able to prioritise and have good communication, both written and verbal (emails, phone, in person).
- Able to use own initiative.
- Experience using Microsoft (Word, Excel, Teams).
