As an Electronics / RF Engineer at Awerian, you will be at the forefront of this innovation race by helping to defend and protect the UK from the latest technological and cyber threats. Every day, you will be operating at the boundary of technological exploration by inventing new solutions and enhancing existing hardware. Typically, this will involve analysis, computational modelling, prototype design, invention, laboratory testing, process development, and manufacturing. Your problem-solving skills will be enhanced as you tackle complex electronic engineering challenges that test your deep understanding of engineering fundamentals and physical principles beyond pure electronics. You will also have many opportunities to expand your skillset into different areas, based on what interests you. Requirements You will ideally have 3+ years relevant experience working in electronics development, in particular RF PCB design and characterisation, have a proven track record of design and implementation of technological solutions, and hold a relevant degree. Proven experience with RF design tools (for example ADS, Microwave Office, CST) is essential. In addition, experience in any of the following is desirable: RADAR or communications applications Microwave RF design End-to-end electronics development and test High speed digital PCB design Antenna design DSP Scripting for test and modelling (for example in MATLAB/Simulink, Python) We are keen to hear from Engineers with broad experience in any sector.
