About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment, and wants to build a career in finance. In this role, you’ll support the Senior Management Accountant, the IT & Transformation team, and the wider business, helping deliver accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and strong budgetary control. If you’re enthusiastic, proactive, and enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders, this role could be perfect for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting month-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
  • Accurate posting of revenue and costs
  • Performing P&L variance analysis and investigating key drivers
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
  • Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and re-forecasts
  • Producing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Responding to financial queries from business stakeholders
  • Supporting reporting for IT costs, including REVEX overheads and Capex
  • Identifying improvements to reporting accuracy and efficiency
  • Building strong working relationships across Finance, IT, Commercial teams, and external stakeholders
  • Delivering ad hoc analysis and reporting as required

Skills & Experience

  • Strong Excel skills (essential)
  • Studying towards (or keen to start) AAT, CIMA, or ACCA (a study package will be included in the role)
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and financial processes
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Essbase) is advantageous
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical ability
