ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Ecommerce Creative Designer (Video & Graphic), you will be a key creative force behind high-performing digital assets for ads and ecommerce platforms. You’ll craft scroll-stopping video content and visually compelling graphics that drive conversions and align with client branding. You’ll be responsible for developing a cohesive visual language across platforms and helping our clients maximise ROI through creative performance. You’ll work closely with other team members in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where creativity, strategy, and precision go hand in hand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and produce high-quality short and long-form video and graphic content for ecommerce websites and social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube).
- Create ad creatives, including product images, category banners, homepage visuals, video ads, and motion graphics.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure all content is strategically aligned and consistent with brand guidelines.
- Understand platform-specific nuances and optimise designs/videos for each to maximise engagement, CTR, and conversions.
- Apply storytelling and design principles to convey brand messaging effectively.
- Participate in daily team meetings and provide feedback and insights on creative direction.
- Stay current on design and video trends, ecommerce strategies, and social media algorithms.
- Balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of ownership.
- Accept feedback and implement revisions to improve the quality and performance of your creative work.
- Research customer preferences and competitor creative strategies to ensure our outputs are relevant and competitive.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–3+ years of experience in video editing and graphic design, ideally within a digital marketing or ecommerce context.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom (Illustrator and HTML knowledge is a plus).
- Strong skills in both motion and text-based animation.
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, branding, and storytelling for ads and ecommerce design.
- Experience optimising assets for performance (views, CTR, conversions).
- Ability to follow brand guidelines without needing direct client contact.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Able to work under pressure and manage quick-turnaround projects.
- Must be able to work UK BST Hours 9am-5pm (On 2 working days, hours will fluctuate to accommodate US-Client Hours).
